After receiving a degree in accounting, Cindy began a job with a traveling inventory company. Born and raised in Muncie, traveling the country was an exciting lifestyle that provided a lesson in geography and history that you just don't get in any classroom. After a few years on the road, however, Cindy found she needed more stability in her life, and began a career in restaurant ownership and management. Ten years of 'stability' came with a price tag of 70 to 80 hour work weeks.
Cindy began longing for a career that would allow her to spend time with her family, as well as provide enough income and flexibility to allow for friendships, traveling and gaming.
Since making that change in 1986, Cindy has started a very unique family tradition..... |

| Each year Cindy goes on a 'girls only' Las Vegas vacation with her mom, aunt, sister-in-law, and 3 wonderful nieces! Just before the trip, she provides each traveler with a good luck object-like lady bug pins, silver dollars or rabbit's feet. No one has ever really struck it rich, but they sure do have fun! |

| Another way Cindy has followed her passion for chance has been to dabble in the stock market. For over eight years, she has been president of a local, 20 member investment club, GRQ (Get Rich Quick). Cindy began the group in order to learn more about the dynamics of the market, which seems as much of a gamble these days as anything. The groups' most lucrative holding? Cindy's stock pick, International Gaming Technologies, better known as SLOT on the NYSE. Go Figure! |
Life is More Than Just A Spin of the Wheel

One of the love's of her life is a miniature yorkshire terrier named Bentley! "I take this little guy everywhere. Whenever we are out, people just flock to him, want to pet him and talk baby-talk to him. I don't have children, so this is definitely my baby."
Cindy is also an avid Santa Clause collector, with over 200 Kris Kringle figurines, music boxes, bobble heads and pictures.
Other leisurely activities are spent with what her friends call 'Women's Wellness'. She and four of her good friends try to get together to take a break from it all a few times a year. Whether it be time spent on a lake in Northern Indiana, sitting on the beaches of Cancun, or just going to play golf or eat dinner, they've made a point to 'keep well' together! |
